Dr. Lauren Burrell-Groda
Dr. Lauren Burrell-Groda is the founder and co-founder of several businesses and the author of the Success By Design series, LightSwitch Management Training Program, Dream Support Life Coaching Curriculum, and Pursuing the Groom Bible Study. She is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA). With extensive experience in business, she possesses a broad knowledge base in business practices, strategic planning, operations, sales and marketing, process improvement, accounting practices, human resource management, training, leadership development, and the nonprofit sector.
Dr. Lauren holds two Doctoral Degrees in Theology with an emphasis on Leadership and Coaching, as well as a Master’s in Biblical Counseling from Summit Bible College in Bakersfield, California. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, where she gained real-world experience alongside her studies, and an Associate degree in Business Administration from San Joaquin Valley College in Bakersfield, California.
Driven by her passion for coaching, Dr. Lauren has worked extensively with CEOs and C-suite leaders, providing personal and professional development coaching to help them achieve peak performance. She specializes in lead generation, sales and marketing coaching, personality coaching for doctors to resolve conflicts with staff, and performance coaching for team members. Her expertise extends to business coaching and consulting for daily operations and growth initiatives across nonprofit and for-profit sectors.
Dr. Lauren has initiated soundboard coaching opportunities, facilitated focus groups, and led training and development programs designed to enhance organizational efficiency and employee engagement. She has also organized mastermind coaching groups to foster collaboration and strategic growth among leaders and teams. Her ability to draw out vision, foster motivation, and deliver actionable strategies consistently produces measurable results.
Over her career, Dr. Lauren has achieved significant milestones. She has served on the boards of two nonprofits and created a graduate-level Christian Coaching Program as part of her dissertation for Summit Bible College in 2018, which continues to thrive today. In 2019, her business was recognized as Business of the Year by a California Chamber for its growth initiative. She also contributed to an economic initiative in California through a partnership plan for the education system and small businesses.
Her innovative business planning framework played a pivotal role in securing a $4.2 million award-winning grant for the Classroom to Career business plan created for The Corporate Breakup, LLC, led by Katrina A. Roddy. This collaboration expanded into providing business plans for entrepreneurs and business owners nationwide, with certifications now offered through multiple platforms.
Dr. Lauren’s leadership includes serving two terms as President of the Student Council during her undergraduate studies. She also contributed to the autobiography transcription and coaching for Freeing the Prisoner Within by Debbie Ormonde. Her visionary business planning has helped countless business owners grow their revenue from $0 to millions annually. She has streamlined systems and processes for organizations, empowering business owners to take control of their long-term success.
A wife, mother of six, and grandmother of two, Dr. Lauren is passionate about inspiring others to lead themselves and their lives effectively. A devoted minister, mentor, and public speaker, she continues to make an impact on the lives of many.

The Phoenix Journey annual "The Ascent 5K Fun Run |Walk| Roll" - Houston, TX
“This was the Phoenix Journey’s first annual run. We supported by writing their long-term enterprise plan, donating to the cause, and even participated in the run (walk in our case). This is a non profit organization focused on providing resources to those who face the struggle of autoimmune disease. This also hits home with me as my aunt struggles with this and was able to finish the walk. I love supporting our local non profits that aim to make a real lasting impact in the lives of members in our local communities”.

“As an intergral part to Be Finally Free team in Bakersfield CA, I was involved in the planning and execution of the “ReEntry Resource Fair”, focused on offering local resources to individuals in the community who are impacted by crimes and incarcerated family members. This was an opportunity to bring the community together to learn about perpetrated cycles of incarceration and the available resources to help stop the cycle in their families and their neighborhoods”.
